South Florida Youth Archery Event & 3D Tournament
The Florida Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers will be hosting a youth archery workshop aiming to teach kids the fundamentals of archery. Following the workshop we'll be hosting a 3D tournament. All ages and skill levels are welcome. There will be giveaways and prizes and equipment will be available for use.<br />Itinerary:<br />9-10:30am: Tournament sign up is open / Beginner archery lessons at the kids range.<br />10:30am-12pm: First half of 3D tournament course (6 targets)<br />12-1pm: More beginner lessons, Lunch and Archery Games. During lunch we will be running a scored archery game using as moving wolf target! Winner takes the prize!<br />1-2:30pm: Second half of 3D tournament course (6 targets)<br />2:30-3:30pm: Archery Games, Award Ceremony and raffles! While the scores are counted, we will be running a long shot competition and the iron buck! Bring extra arrows!<br />Tournament:<br />The tournament scoring will be Center IBO 12, with the center ring being 12 pts, the outer ring 10 pts, the vitals outline 8 pts, anywhere else 5 pts, and a miss is 0 pts.
